Jio Recharge: Following its free calling service, Jio now provides access to 12 OTT platforms for under Rs 200.
Jio has unveiled an enticing new recharge plan priced at just Rs 175, aimed at its vast user base. In light of the recent hike in mobile tariffs, a considerable number of customers from private telecom providers have been migrating to BSNL. In response to this shifting trend, Jio has introduced this budget-friendly recharge option to retain its customers. Notably, the plan also includes a complimentary subscription to a variety of popular apps.
Jio Rs 175 Prepaid Recharge Plan: This recharge plan by Jio falls under its entertainment offerings. Available via Jio's official website or the MyJio app, the plan provides a 28-day validity. Users are granted 10GB of high-speed data, with no daily usage cap. It’s important to highlight that this new plan is solely data-centric and does not encompass calling services. Instead, it serves as a perfect complement to existing recharge plans, offering additional data.
Moreover, subscribers of this plan will enjoy free access to a range of OTT apps, including Sony LIV, Zee5, Jio Cinema Premium, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, DocuBay, Epic On, and Hoichoi. These subscriptions remain valid throughout the 28-day period.

Jio's Additional Entertainment Plans: Beyond the Rs 175 option, Jio has rolled out three more entertainment-centric prepaid plans, priced at Rs 329, Rs 1029, and Rs 1049. These plans come packed with perks like unlimited voice calling, OTT app subscriptions, and daily data allowances. They are also featured under the entertainment section on Jio's official website.
Meanwhile, the Jio Freedom Plan, available for Rs 355, stands out by offering a full 30-day validity. Subscribers benefit from unlimited calling for the entire month, coupled with a total of 25GB of data. This plan's unique selling point is the absence of a daily data cap, allowing users to consume the 25GB at their discretion—be it over 30 days or sooner. Additionally, the plan includes 100 free SMS per day.
