Indian Railways: To accommodate the increased passenger demand during festive seasons, Indian Railways routinely introduces special trains on heavily trafficked routes. This year, anticipating a surge in travelers for Raksha Bandhan, a special train has been scheduled between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Indore, operating via Kota under train numbers 04411/04412.

Kota Route for Rakshabandhan Special Train

The Rakshabandhan special train will traverse key stations, including Mathura, Bharatpur, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Shamgarh, Nagda, and Ujjain. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Public Relations Officer for Kota, Rohit Malviya, emphasized that these special services are designed to alleviate passenger congestion during peak travel periods.

Stations and Coaches

This special service will feature 21 coaches, encompassing SLR, General, Sleeper, Third AC, and Second AC accommodations. The train will halt at nine stations across both directions of its route between Indore and Nizamuddin, specifically within the Kota division: Bharatpur, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, and Shamgarh.

Additional Service for Jodhpur Residents

In addition to the Rakshabandhan special, Indian Railways has announced another service for Rajasthan residents. Passengers from Didwana, Nagaur, Jodhpur, and Churu will benefit from a direct train to Gorakhpur and Ayodhya, starting on Independence Day, August 15. This weekly special train between Jodhpur and Gorakhpur will run for a total of seven rounds, offering enhanced connectivity during the festive season.

Stops on the Jodhpur-Gorakhpur Route

Departing from Jodhpur, this train will make stops at Merta Road, Degana, Chhoti Khatu, Didwana, Ladnun, Sujangarh, Ratangarh, Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya Dham, Mankapur, Basti, and Khalilabad stations.

Important Advisory for Passengers

Passengers are advised to verify the train’s status through the station, NTES, Rail Madad 139, or online platforms before embarking on their journey. It is also noteworthy that Indian Railways has had to cancel several trains in August due to various reasons, so travelers should remain informed of any potential changes.
