British rock band Coldplay lit up Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium with an electrifying performance, marking their debut concert in Gujarat. The crowd erupted with excitement as Chris Martin and his bandmates delivered a spellbinding set that showcased their iconic hits.

The evening’s highlight came when Martin endeared himself to the audience by speaking Gujarati, greeting the crowd with, “Tame logo aaje badha sundar laago cho. Hu tamare shahar ma aavyo chu. Kem cho Ahmedabad?” This heartfelt gesture won thunderous applause, deepening the connection between the band and its fans.

The night reached its zenith during the performance of A Sky Full of Stars, when the stadium transformed into a celestial wonderland of lights. Fireworks illuminated the sky, and Martin urged fans to put away their phones and immerse themselves fully in the experience. “Your phone in your pocket, your hands in the sky,” he declared, sparking a euphoric response.

After the concert, Coldplay expressed their gratitude on social media, calling the event their “biggest-ever concert.” They added, “Totally mind-blowing. Thank you, Ahmedabad. See you again tomorrow!” The band also invited fans across India to join their live-streamed performance on Disney Hotstar.
