DDA Housing Scheme 2024: 2,300 Flats Snapped Up in Just 48 Hours; ‘Affordable' and ‘Middle-Class' Units Lead Demand, The latest DDA Housing Scheme has seen a whirlwind of activity, with 2,300 flats booked in just 48 hours. Of these, 1,300 reservations were made on the second day alone. Unsurprisingly, the ‘affordable' and ‘middle-class' categories have emerged as the frontrunners in demand.
According to official DDA data, the bookings were spread across three distinct categories. On the second day, the ‘affordable housing' segment saw approximately 1,050 units booked, while the ‘middle-class' category accounted for around 250 bookings. Combined, this made up 1,300 flats reserved in just one day across both popular categories.
DDA officials have reiterated their commitment to swift action, stating that demand letters would be issued to buyers within 24 hours of their bookings. So far, 1,170 letters have been dispatched, all through online channels.
On the first day alone, more than 1,000 flats from the affordable and middle-class schemes were snapped up in just four hours. The DDA is rolling out a diverse range of flats across various locations in Delhi, catering to different income brackets and preferences.
