In Haryana, the latest trends indicate the BJP is leading in 50 of the 90 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 34. Despite these numbers, exit polls had earlier predicted a clear majority for Congress in the state.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance is leading in 50 seats—four more than the required majority in the 90-member assembly. The BJP is currently ahead in 25 seats, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leading in five.
