A 32-year-old DRDO Guest House manager, Mahendra Prasad, was arrested in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s ISI.
He is accused of sharing sensitive information about defense activities, including the movement of scientists and Army officers, via social media.
Rajasthan CID Intelligence made the arrest after monitoring him ahead of Independence Day and confirmed the data leak through his phone.
He was interrogated in Jaipur by multiple agencies, and a case has been filed under the Official Secrets Act, 1923.
Prasad, from Uttarakhand, will be presented in court and taken on remand for further questioning.
